Wow when raw food turns out bad, it reaaaally turns out bad! I was looking forward to a zuchinni pasta dish and the cashew based sauce was gross. It turned out super soggy. I felt like I was eating food dug out of our green bin. I cut up some cherry tomatoes, fresh basil and called it a night. The mint, lime agave drink turned out well though. :)

Above is the terrible dinner and my sweetheart (Raw foodist in training) Van helping Mommy and eating along the way!

  1. Oh no! Now, what recipe was this one from? Van is a doll and you are so fortunate that he is so willing to try raw veggies too :o) I think he teaches us..lol

  2. It was a variation of one of the ones from Russell James. The tangy spiralized squash. I didn't get it right and it turned out badly!

    You don't know how many times I hear "I can't get my child to eat ANY vegetables"...I always think, okay, really? I don't think you're trying hard enough! Besides, kids love to dip and raw veggies and fruit are perfect for that!
