After a trip to Goodness Me health food store I was able to expand beyond a Kale salad and I made this dish: Chipotle and tahini broccoli with parsnip rice. It was really yummy! I am always amazed at the texture of raw food. The parsnip rice was very cool. I would like to experiment with trying to make a "fried rice" using sesame oil. I think that would work. Very interesting.

I was REALLY craving sweets today, tough day that way!

  1. Hey Jenell, awesome meal. I have to say, I like the parsnip rice too that I made in a sushi wrap..surprised I was lol. Listen, if you crave the sweet, try keeping a jar of raw honey. You only need a teaspoon...great vitamins, enzymes etc..and no harm.

  2. Thanks Deb! I bought some organic dark chocolate thinking it would be a good back up to the raw sweets I make but it's too dangerous to have on hand. lol I seriously cannot trust myself!

  3. They say you are 4 to 5 times less likely to have a stroke if you eat the dark chocolate (75% or higher).. I can't overeat on it cause it reminds me of sand but I try to have some when possible !
